Mari berbelog semula..mari memasak asam pedas ikan tenggiri

Hi semua...

Saya terpanggil untuk berbelog berkongsi gamba masakan kesukaan orang-orang johor. Orang negeri lain pun suka kot but this is Asam Pedas Ikan Tenggiri Johor style:

Bahan-bahan :

1. 10 tangkai Cili kering / cili merah
2. 1 biji Bawang besar 
3. 3 biji bawang kecil
4. Sedikit belacan
5. Sehelai - dua daun kesom
6. Asam keping atau air asam
7. Garam dan gula
8. Daun kesom
9. Bunga kantan
10. Of course - Beberapa ketul ikan tenggiri atau ikan-ikan lain

Bahan-bahan 1-5 adalah untuk diblend dengan sedikit air (sikit je asal boleh blend). Untuk makluman semua, Chef Wan kata (YBhg. Dato' Chef kan??) blend sedikit daun kesom dengan bahan-bahan blend lain supaya lebih aroma dan rasa. Beliau  juga kata lagi sedap asam pedas guna cili merah instead of cili kering, tapi mahal la kosnya.

Setelah siap blend, tumiskan semua  bahan-bahan blend dengan minyak yang panas, tambahkan air asam/asam keping, masukkan bunga kantan, ikan, garam gula dan akhir sekali daun kesom. SIAP!!! 

Ada sekali tu, saya buat asam pedas rasa macam pahit je. Tanya mak dia kata awal sangat masuk daun kesom. dia akan overcook dan jadi pahit. So, masukkan daun kesom last ye kawan-kawan. Beza asam pedas johor dan utara ialah asam pedas johor kuahnya lebih pekat. Kalau utara cair kuahnya dan yang style utara tu kalau johor panggil "Asam Rebus"


* Opsss!!!Dalam gambar itu bendi ye bukan bunga kantan. Boleh mix and match mana-mana sesuai ok.

Dhani at 02.05.11. He seems to be ok and slept well last night. Only mommy n daddy cdnt sleep well. Just bout 3hrs sleep..

Update from paediatric ward 3110

Assalammualaikum dan slamat pagi semua..

I'm back with not so good news but still Alhamdulillah neither not too bad news..my cousin this morning noticed that i have not update my blog for so long..so here I am sis, bercerita psl si kecik Dhani yg x sempat bermain dgn 2 pupu-pupunya tadi sbb Dhani demam.

Dhani is now admitted to Pantai Hospital Cheras. "Demam" so called children's bestfriend ya...orang kata biasa but luar biasa kalau dh muntah 7 dulang camtu..

Dengan berbekalkan kudrat yang x seberapa kerana mlm tdi dah OT layan Dhani tgk ultraman dan cranky segala from 12am-430am, Dhani woke up around 8am this morning n suddenly vomitted non-stop.

Kerana kami dah bersedia ke majlis pertunangan cousin kami, we still proceed..thinking that he is fine. Muntah biasa je coz masih batuk2 sket. Smpai Slayang, Dhani muntah lagi..(I salute gile Iphone GPS kami tiba sgt cpt dan x sesat)..

Mak De (my sis) punya baju dh slamat kene muntah. Then double bonus, about few minutes later mama pulak kene. Blik rumah muntah lg. In total 6 times+1 kali lg btol2 dpt kaunter emergency hospital.

Bila Dr tanya berapa kali muntah I said 6 then my sis corrected me and said 7 tambah kat depan kaunter tdi.. Yes sis u r our saviour..if u r not around mau aku meroyan drive Dhani sorang2 ke hospital. FYI readers, hubby was out of town but has shorten his stay there to meet his beloved son ASA I told him he need to be admitted..

Dipendekkan cerita, now Dhani sudah tido dan dalam pemantauan Dr. Dr said nothing serious but detected bacteria infection due to high white blood cell count. Lagi horror time saya balik rumah kejap ptg tdi packing baju, my sis called me and told me like "kak dtg cepat..Dhani rashes 1 badan. Dr tgh check". Can u imagine how do I feel? At that time tgh cpt2 nk tapau mkn kat kedai mamat coz we r starving like hell. Menggigil k..apalagi crying in front of the mamak like putus cinta suruh tlg cpt siap pack makan. Cpt2 drive to hosp (at that time ting tong already coz lack of sleep the night before caused by cranky Dhani. Tawakal allallah drive dlm hujan+menangis+mengantok sambil hubby call tanya update anak.

Alhamdulillah Dr cpt2 counter bagi ubat then the rashes dissappeared slowly. Malam ni Dhani nampak ok nk mkn dan tido. Dr visited us again to make sure he is ok. We miss Dr Bavani(his regular paed) but she was on leave and we got Dr.Lai as replacement. He's good too anyway..

Ok peeps...Hubby is already here. I know he surely felt worse than I am, knowing that his wife struggling doing all these on her own (but + the assistance of Mak De of coz) while he was away. I have nothing else to think but to make sure that our loved one safe n sound. We love u little Dhani..
